Awesome Play Center,
I bought the Highlander on SamsClub, however I am reviewing it on other sites. If you’re like me, you read all the reviews you can.
This is an excellent swing set. The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. I had to redo a couple of steps, but it’s because I wasn’t paying attention to the instructions. I put it together in roughly 22 hours with partial help from a friend. The wood is good quality (first deck held 400lbs, myself and my friend as we put it together) and it came with all the wood and hardware. A couple of boards were cracked, however replacements were sent right away, with no hassle, and from a friendly representative. I sorted boards and remarked a few before starting which greatly sped up the assembly. 98% of the boards were clearly marked and the hardware was clearly packaged – except for one, but it was very easy to figure out. My three year old son loves this swing set! It’s very stable and I feel safe with him climbing all over it. There were a couple of really tight fits, but overall it was a pleasure to build. A couple of steps require two people, which my wife was able to do. I took one woodshop class in Jr. High and do a couple of DYI projects around the house, so most people should be comfortable putting this together. I’m confident this will be around for years and get many hours of use from our children and the kids around the neighborhood.
I honestly think this is the best playset available for the money. You can view a 360 degree image (and my same review) at swingsetsonline. I did a lot of research before buying this swing set and I’m very happy with my purchase. There are many other reviews online and I encourage everyone to read them to get building tips and the positive feedback the Highlander received.
